On June 28, 2022, PFC Zachary Matthew Martin, US Marine Corps, took his life after struggling with PTSD. The Zachary M. Martin Memorial Run/Walk Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation was founded to raise funds for veterans and discharged military post service struggling with PTSD get the help they need. We will also help families who have lost military loved ones from suicide.

5k Run/Walk

September 12, 2026

This will be our 5th Zachary M. Martin Memorial Run/Walk race and our first annual race in Rhode Island. Our foundation raises money to help veterans and post military families. We are looking forward to a great turnout at Colt State Park in Bristol, Rhode Island.

We are a non-profit 501(C)(3) corporation that seeks to raise money through direct monetary donations and through the registrations for our annual run/walk. These monies directly impact lives and we are living proof. We received valuable support and encouragement after our son died directly funded from corporations like the one we formed.
